When you leave a comment on our website, we collect the information you provided in the comment form. We also collect your IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. Additionally, we may provide an anonymized string of your email address (called a hash) to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Cookies

We record your personal information (name, email, and website) in cookies when you comment on our site. These cookies have a validity period of one year and prevent you from having to fill in your details again for each comment.

Additionally, when you access our login page, we check if your browser accepts cookies. To do this, we temporarily place a cookie, which is automatically deleted when you close your browser. It does not contain any personal data.

After you log in, we create several cookies to save your login information and display preferences. They are valid for two days, and the screen option cookies are valid for one year. If you select the “Remember Me” option, you will stay logged in for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies are automatically deleted.

Whenever you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser with the ID of the article you just edited. Its validity period is one day.

In summary, we use cookies to enhance your user experience by saving your preferences for future use. This saves you from having to enter your personal information again.
